Legendary Survival Overhaul expands Minecraft survival with configurable temperature, hydration, localized limb damage, and health systems. Temperature responds to environmental conditions, seasons, wetness, shelter, clothing, equipment, and food; a calendar and thermometer help you track conditions, while heaters and ice boxes manage nearby temperatures. Temperature-specific plants include sun and ice ferns, which can be used for potions and armor insulation, with rare golden varieties for temperature-immunity potions; water plants and juices add options for hydration. Hydration has its own bar and saturation, is spent through actions, and falls faster in hot conditions; players can drink from water, purify it, carry it in canteens, or drink clean rainwater, while dirty water can cause thirst. Damage is assigned to individual limbs: head wounds cause periodic blindness, torso wounds increase incoming damage, arm wounds impair combat or mining, leg wounds make falls harder, and foot wounds slow movement; healing items repair injuries. Heart Fragments and Heart Containers increase maximum health, while fully damaged limbs can inflict temporary Broken Hearts; Resilient Hearts preserve a portion of health, and Golden Apple absorption becomes persistent Shield Hearts when lost in combat. The mod also adds temperature-resistant outfits and Curios baubles, including resistance rings, a rainproof sponge, and First Aid Supplies that allow passive limb regeneration; these can be crafted, fished up, or found in specific structures and loot. Its extensive configuration and datapack support let players adjust survival-system behavior and define temperature, hydration, damage, and equipment interactions for custom content. It integrates with Serene Seasons and Ecliptic Seasons, Curios, and food mods such as Farmer’s Delight and Crockpot, and lists compatibility with a broad range of biome, creature, and content mods.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
