An RPG adventure with challenging bosses and a world to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 301 graded mods, 221 are graded A or B, 67 C and 13 D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Project Arcane Frontier is an expert-level RPG modpack that combines more than 270 mods into a challenging experience shaped by custom progression, recipe changes, and integrated world generation. More than 1,000 recipes are changed or tweaked, while loot is adjusted for different stages of play. Its world integrates modded biomes, trees, and structures with custom block placements, mob spawns, and curated loot. The Nether and End are replaced by the Voidsent Forest in the Overworld, where players encounter structures associated with the End. The pack features more than 60 bosses with distinctive abilities: the Obliterator summons immortal clones when its phases change, Ignis calls down meteors, and dragons have supercharged dormant powers.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 18 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 28 May 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 296 of its 303 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 278 of its 282 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 240 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
42 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
