A quest-driven modpack with new recipes, dimensions, and bosses.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 209 graded mods, 122 are graded A or B, 44 C and 43 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Faruk V is a guided progression modpack that sits between an expert pack and a kitchen-sink collection, using more than 650 quests in English and Turkish to help players navigate its content. Its staged progression unlocks mods over time, beginning with Create, Quark, Cyclic, and Silent Gear, then moving through engineering, storage, thermal and occult systems before reaching Mekanism, Draconic Evolution, and Ice & Fire. The pack adds hundreds of custom recipes that reshape crafting and extend progression across its included mods, including revised recipes for Create machinery, Silent Gear, Occultism, Mekanism, and Draconic Evolution. Exploration extends into two new dimensions and features more than ten bosses, with Twilight Forest and the custom World of Faruk among the staged destinations. Combat in these dimensions can be demanding: Twilight Forest creatures and bosses are strengthened, while monsters in Farukland have five times their usual health and damage. The pack also includes Ice & Fire dragons, whose underground cave chests can contain Dragon Scales and Draconium Dust, and adds penguins to the world. Industrial and magical systems both contribute to progression, with examples including Create, Immersive Engineering, Thermal, Occultism, Blood Magic, Industrial Foregoing, and Mekanism.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 1 Jul 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 13 Jun 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 211 of its 212 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 205 of its 206 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (1 Jul 2022) in the 149 mods we checked.
7 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
57 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
