A technical modpack with tools and smoother gameplay for redstone players.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 128 graded mods, 116 are graded A or B, 8 C and 4 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.21.4. See the mods
GD656 is a technical Minecraft modpack built for Redstone players, combining performance-focused optimization with tools for efficient building and technical gameplay. Its building toolkit includes the Carpet suite, Litematica with a printer for precise schematic construction, and Tweakeroo controls for fine-grained actions; Chunky can pre-generate chunks, while Jade and AutoFish provide block information and fishing automation. MiniHUD adds overlays for distance, beacon range, light levels, slime chunks, spawn chunks, and villager information, and Xaero’s minimap and world map support navigation and waypoints. The pack also includes Iris shaders, dynamic lighting, enhanced footstep sounds, BetterF3, and high-resolution screenshots, alongside resource packs and a streamlined interface selected for technical play. Its customized controls include freecam, gamma override, bridging, continuous attack, held right-click, and automatic tool or weapon selection, with a layout designed to work without a numpad.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.4 · Fabric, 6 Aug 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 3 Jul 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 129 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 124 of its 125 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (6 Aug 2025) in the 125 mods we checked.
10 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
