No harmful code found in the projects we checked

We checked 156 of its 161 projects, without running them.

We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).

Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.

9 mods send something about you

We read the code of 149 of its 153 mods, without running it.

Entity CullingCrash reportsCollectivePlayer IDFancyMenuCrash reports[ETF] Entity Texture FeaturesPlayer nameNot Enough AnimationsCrash reportssparkData we could not identifyCrash AssistantData we could not identifyChunkyUsage dataWATERMeDIA: Multimedia APICrash reports

Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.

    AI

AI used in 3 of the 122 mods we checked

We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.

11 other mods show AI use only from after this release (24 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.

AI was used for its text

ChatGPT is named in the author's texts.

We have not read its files and images yet.

Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
