A survival modpack with tougher challenges and a world to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 95 graded mods, 71 are graded A or B, 21 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 7 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
The Last of MC is a vanilla-plus survival modpack intended as a recreation of The Last of Us, with difficulty that increases exponentially. It keeps Minecraft’s core survival feel while enhancing movement, animations, combat, and interactions with smoother, more natural-looking character actions. For exploration and navigation, Xaero’s Minimap and World Map help players find their way, while Waystones let them establish a fast-travel network. Dynamic lighting and visual effects make caves, nighttime travel, and combat more atmospheric, and held light sources such as torches illuminate the surroundings. Sophisticated Backpacks add portable storage for gathering and travel, while Simple Voice Chat supports in-game communication during cooperative multiplayer survival. The pack also includes performance-focused mods intended to help the game run smoothly alongside these enhancements.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 31 Mar 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 95 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 95 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (31 Mar 2026) in the 82 mods we checked.
7 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
13 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
