Survive a zombie-filled world with guns, scavenging, and base-building.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 122 graded mods, 47 are graded A or B, 27 C and 48 D to F. Its last update came out 9 months ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Zombie Gun Tech is a survival modpack set in a world overrun by zombies, where scavenging for resources and equipping yourself to face the undead are central to play. You can search structures for guns, armor, and supplies, craft firearms, and expand your arsenal with Tinkers’ Construct tools and weapons. The pack also supports building a safer home: death does not make you lose your items, Creepers cannot destroy blocks, and chisels and MalisisDoors offer ways to shape and protect a base. Survival resources include Nether ores and food, from scavenged rations to crops and meals made with Pam’s HarvestCraft, Cooking for Blockheads, and Farming for Blockheads. For base power and storage, the pack includes tech mods such as Immersive Engineering, Ender IO, Refined Storage, and Extreme Reactors.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 4 Feb 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 22 Nov 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 125 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 125 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 67 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
58 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
