Survive zombie hordes while defending a village in a harsh world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 188 graded mods, 154 are graded A or B, 26 C and 8 D to F. Its last update came out 20 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Zombie Survivalist is a co-op-friendly apocalypse survival modpack where you face recurring zombie hordes, defend a village or strike out on your own, and explore dangerous biomes and scattered structures. Zombies have smarter AI and can break blocks to pursue you; waves may strike at any time, and elite mobs and boss mobs add further threats while potentially offering valuable loot. Survival requires crafting primitive tools to gather resources, monitoring hydration because water is contaminated, and managing body temperature as seasons change. Deserts and snowy biomes bring additional environmental hazards, while realistic biomes, enhanced water and particle effects, and ambient sounds with reverb and echoes shape exploration. The pack also includes a broad selection of building blocks for constructing shelters and defenses.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 24 Feb 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 14 Nov 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 195 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 194 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 194 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
