Fantasy++ is a creative medieval fantasy modpack for exploration, magic, and combat, with new biomes, dungeons, structures, and mythical creatures such as dragons and unicorns. Its exploration content includes Dungeons Arise and overhauled desert temples, ocean monuments, strongholds, and End islands, adding new layouts, challenges, secrets, and loot. For magic and combat, the pack includes Spell Engine’s spell system, magical ores and materials from Mythic Metals, and new weapons from Soulslike Weaponry and Simply Swords. New armor, accessories, and character enhancements complement the combat additions, while enhanced textures, animations, ambient sounds, dynamic lighting, and BSL shaders change the world’s presentation. Quality-of-life additions include food and hunger information from AppleSkin, inventory management with Inventory Profiles Next, and navigation with Xaero’s World Map.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 9 Jul 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 21 May 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 152 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 146 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 146 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
