Automate resource gathering and build machines in a technology modpack.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 272 graded mods, 222 are graded A or B, 42 C and 8 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.4. See the mods
FTB NeoTech is a curated technology-focused modpack built around creating machinery, automating work, and progressing through integrated, balanced recipes. Its industrial toolkit includes Modern Industrialization, Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Actually Additions, and PneumaticCraft, supporting complex processing systems, contraptions, tree farms, and mine-shaft work with Steve’s Carts. For resource production and conversion, players can breed specialized Chickens 2 chickens and use Equivalent Exchange for advanced matter conversions. Exploration takes place in worlds shaped by Terralith and Tectonic, with custom biomes and world generation, hidden treasures, and challenging dungeons alongside the pack’s industrial progression. The pack supports cooperative play, including shared quest progression and TeamEMC, so friends can build industrial complexes, explore, and take on dungeons together.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.4 · NeoForge, 12 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 273 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 270 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 28 of the 221 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
49 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
