    NeoForge Foundry SkyBlock Edition is a tech-focused SkyBlock modpack that uses quests to guide early play and set goals for progression. Players build an island from basic materials, progressing from making dirt and hammering it into stone to securing water, setting up a cobblestone generator and mob farm, and sifting their first iron. Its chapters move from the Stone Age through a Steam Age of industrialization toward electrical power, which opens access to a broad range of technology mods; Modern Industrialisation features during the Steam Age. A later magic-focused chapter offers a break from engineering with mods including Twilight Forest and Nature's Aura. Seasons affect the island: some plants cannot grow in winter, while winter can provide snow and ice.
