Survive a zombie apocalypse in overgrown cities filled with dangerous hordes.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 176 graded mods, 123 are graded A or B, 35 C and 18 D to F. Its last update came out 4 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
The Last Dawn II Remastered is a zombie-apocalypse modpack focused on surviving in a world where vanilla hostile mobs such as skeletons and creepers are disabled, leaving zombies and selected modded enemies as the main threats. Explore overgrown cities, ruined structures and underground networks, with highways choked by abandoned vehicles and survivors sheltering behind barricades and makeshift walls. Enhanced enemy AI, special infected variants and configurable spawn rules make hordes dangerous, with difficulty options for adjusting factors such as horde size, nighttime danger, health and movement. Survival combines firearms, melee weapons, backpacks, medical supplies and food systems, while NPC survivors and defenders can help protect safe zones or trade supplies. Vehicles support travel between cities and bases, and storms and harsh weather can make those journeys more dangerous. Lightweight tech progression lets players use Create-style machinery and Immersive-style power to automate farms, lighting and defenses while maintaining the apocalyptic setting. The pack is designed for cooperative multiplayer as well as singleplayer, and offers performance options including optional shader support.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 26 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 26 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 170 of its 176 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 164 of its 170 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 143 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
27 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
