Dungeon Crawl is a medieval adventure modpack focused on dungeon exploration, loot, and late-game progression, with a play experience designed to work well with friends. Players can explore dungeons across the Overworld and End, alongside dimensions, biomes, and structures such as the Twilight Forest, Battle Towers, Pillager Castles, and Underground Bastions. Dangerous bosses, dragons with combat and traversal abilities, and creatures such as the Roost Stalker add threats to exploration. Origins and classes support different playstyles, while a new enchantment system and vanilla-friendly affixes add character progression and gear variety. Loot is instanced for each player and marked with loot beams, so group members can claim their own share. Dynamic sound effects, furniture, and a substantial range of magic contribute to the pack’s atmosphere and gameplay.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 15 May 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 8 May 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 188 of its 191 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 188 of its 191 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 141 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
50 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
