A horror modpack where you build a safehouse and survive.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 279 graded mods, 225 are graded A or B, 48 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 4 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
FEARCRAFT is a horror-focused survival modpack built around surviving a world where threats stalk the player, making exploration and mining dangerous. Its featured horrors include Herobrine, the Man from the Fog, the Cave Dweller, and the Knocker, alongside watching eyes in the darkness. Fog-drenched forests, cursed caverns, and haunted ruins establish its eerie atmosphere, while the Create mod lets players engineer defenses against the threats. Players can suggest mods to help shape future additions to the pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 30 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 279 of its 280 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 270 of its 271 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 14 of the 238 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
33 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
