A modpack focused on survival in a nuclear wasteland.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 176 graded mods, 68 are graded A or B, 30 C and 78 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Nuclear Earth: Reirradiated is a survival-focused modpack set in a radioactive wasteland, where hostile creatures and radiation poisoning add dangers beyond finding food and shelter. World generation consists of 12 custom wasteland biomes, and the pack reshapes progression around surviving and rebuilding in this hostile environment. Its technology options include Nuclearcraft, Techreborn, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, and Ender IO, while magic comes from mods such as Astral Sorcery, Embers, Thaumcraft, and Botania. Nuclearcraft reactor builders get 24 additional fuels that extend its fuel chain, alongside endgame nuclear fuel for further progression. Progression is designed to draw on the pack’s different systems: completing the pack means completing everything, and numerous endgame items require engaging with multiple parts of it. Optional lore frames the wasteland as a future Earth devastated by a supernova, where a survivor awakens from cryogenic sleep thousands of years later to begin humanity’s recovery.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 10 Dec 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
6 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 4 Nov 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 184 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 182 of its 184 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (10 Dec 2024) in the 99 mods we checked.
9 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
85 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
