About
Otaku Anime World is an anime-inspired RPG modpack that brings together content based on series including One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and My Hero Academia for a Minecraft adventure focused on powers, combat, bosses, and exploration. Players can use Devil Fruits and Haki as pirates or marines, wield Cursed Energy and Domain techniques against Curses, learn Breathing Styles and hunt demons with Nichirin swords, or develop a Quirk and fight villains. The pack also includes anime-inspired structures, weapons, armor, artifacts, bosses, dungeons, rare loot, quests, and RPG progression.

No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 236 of its 238 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.

5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 218 of its 219 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
How we checked
- Go online onlyTheir code contacts a web address, for example to check for updates. We found nothing it sends about you.29 modsBookshelfCollectivePlaceboMoonlight Lib

AI
AI named in 6 of the 189 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
8 other mods show AI use only from after this release (26 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
30 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
How we checked
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when a substantial part of the code is AI output, when an asset is mainly AI output, or when the project or its page relies on generative AI.Not on Modrinth.
- Description and changelogsThe description, project page and newest changelogs: sentences saying an AI tool was used, and text pasted from an AI chat.Nothing found2 of 40 changelogs read
