Build a sky island and follow quests through new ages.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 286 graded mods, 146 are graded A or B, 42 C and 98 D to F. Its last update came out 3.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Sky FABRICation 3 is a skyblock modpack built around quest-guided technology progression, with magic and adventuring paths alongside its tech-focused chapters. You begin on one of three island variants: Oak Sapling, Bamboo, or Fishing. In The Beginning, you gather basic resources, make a cobblestone generator, use sieves to obtain materials from dirt and gravel, and build a mob farm; later, iron unlocks lava production and access to the Nether. The Mechanical Age centers on Create, using kinetic power to process materials, followed by a Steam Age focused on industrialization with Modern Industrialisation and an Electric Age that opens access to a broad range of technology mods. Separate chapters guide you through Tom's Storage and Applied Energistics, as well as magic mods and travel to other dimensions. World seasons affect farming and resources: some plants cannot grow in winter, while winter can provide snow and ice. The pack also includes the Origins mod, though the supplied description does not specify its role or mechanics.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Fabric, 25 Jul 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
10 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 7 Jun 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 298 of its 300 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
15 mods send something about you
We read the code of 298 of its 300 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 212 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
88 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
