Stone Technology Ultimate is a technology- and exploration-focused quest modpack set in a stone world, with controlled progression and a consistent endgame and no magic mods. Its story, inspired by the SCP Foundation universe, begins with the player trapped in a cage above the void; after escaping, they explore an inhabited place and uncover clues to its history while seeking a way back to Earth. Players go on expeditions across eight dimensions, unlock technologies, and build automated systems using technical mods such as Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Create, Industrial Foregoing, and Thermal, alongside exploration mods including Blue Skies, Beyond Earth, the Undergarden, and the Twilight Forest. Progress is shaped by 540 quests and 770 custom crafts, leading from early storage and steam production to large endgame projects such as a telescope, space miner, and particle accelerator.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 2 Jul 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Apr 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 267 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 264 of its 265 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 209 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
56 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
