A survival modpack with tougher enemies and relentless mob hordes.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 174 graded mods, 121 are graded A or B, 36 C and 17 D to F. Its last update came out 3.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Survival Unchained is a vanilla++ modpack for survival play that makes Minecraft more challenging through tougher enemies and hordes, with mobs using altered AI to hunt players and attack their bases. Zombies seek players and mine routes to their bases, skeletons snipe from a distance, and creepers may launch themselves at targets; the pack also includes modified mobs, unique enchantments, and powerful bosses. Health does not regenerate passively: players can find bandages and other healing items by killing mobs, or restore substantial health by sleeping, while Scaling Health adds strengths and weaknesses as they progress. Combat features attack animations, improved hit detection, and weapon collisions that can strike multiple enemies at once, alongside weapons from Epic Knights and Simply Swords. Create and Building Gadgets support base construction and the building of weapons, while dungeon additions include When Dungeons Arise and YUNG's Better Dungeons. The world also combines the Oh The Biomes You'll Go and Biomes O' Plenty biome collections.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 3 Mar 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 2 Mar 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 174 of its 175 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 166 of its 167 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 11 of the 142 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
25 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
