Survive zombie hordes in a ruined world filled with weapons and danger.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 224 graded mods, 162 are graded A or B, 54 C and 8 D to F. Its last update came out 10 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.10. See the mods
World War Z is a zombie-apocalypse survival modpack built around holding out as long as possible in a hostile, war-torn world. Relentless zombie hordes grow stronger and more numerous each day, while firearms and military equipment help you fight back and advanced armor and defense systems help withstand large attacks. You must gather resources, build and protect a shelter, and explore a devastated landscape of ruined cities, hidden shelters, and infested areas to stay alive.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 14 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 6 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 219 of its 225 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 207 of its 213 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 171 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
42 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
