A familiar adventure with new places, creatures, and dungeons to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 268 graded mods, 263 are graded A or B, 5 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 11 days ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
Better MC [BMC6] is a Vanilla+ modpack designed to extend Minecraft while keeping the experience player-focused. It reshapes world generation with Biomes O’ Plenty and Geophilic, and adds hundreds of dungeons and structures, including creations from Moog’s Voyager Structures, AdoraBuild: Structures, and Formations, alongside overhauled strongholds and fortresses. New creatures and encounters include mobs from Alex’s Mobs and Friends & Foes, with the pack also featuring new bosses. Exploration and everyday play are supported by Waystones, XP Tomes, and an enhanced Xaero’s Minimap. The pack includes shader support and custom shader presets, as well as performance optimizations. Its recipe interface uses Roughly Enough Items, which can hide the recipe list until a player searches, keeping the inventory menu clearer. Built-in free world sharing lets players share their worlds, and the pack contains more than 220 mods.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · NeoForge, 14 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 268 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 259 of its 260 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 50 of the 231 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
29 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
