An RPG pack full of dungeons, monsters, magic, and adventure.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 200 graded mods, 158 are graded A or B, 35 C and 7 D to F. Its last update came out 12 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Mustard Mode: ENGAGED! is a hand-curated RPG modpack with a loose medieval, Elden Ring-inspired feel, bringing together combat, magic, exploration, and survival systems. Combat draws on Epic Fight and its addons, while Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks provides magic; the pack also features character classes and levelable stats that shape your abilities. Its adventure content includes dungeons and dangerous bosses and mobs from mods such as Dungeons Plus, Dungeons and Taverns, End Remastered, Ice and Fire, L_Ender’s Cataclysm, and Mutant Monsters. Exploration additions include Alex’s Caves, Incendium, Terralith, The Outer End, and Tan’s Huge Trees, creating new places and landscapes to discover. An in-game quest and tutorial page helps orient players, while the pack adds stat progression, horse calling, terminal-and-pipe storage, and a light keep-inventory system that preserves main gear but costs other carried loot on death. Campfires are important for survival, while beds are not the usual way to rest.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 31 Oct 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 4 Mar 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 200 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 194 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 19 of the 172 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
22 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
