A modpack for exploring and building with friends using proximity chat.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 181 graded mods, 79 are graded A or B, 40 C and 62 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Simple Voice Chat & Proximity Chat Modpack brings together mods for playing and exploring with friends, with Simple Voice Chat enabling nearby players to talk in proximity chat. Its adventure side includes dungeon exploration and boss battles, expanded biomes and structures, the Twilight Forest and the Undergarden, plus dragons from Ice and Fire and creatures from Alex’s Mobs. Players can build and decorate with Fairy Lights, MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod, Chisel and Bits, and Macaw’s doors, bridges and windows, or grow elaborate gardens with Mystical Agriculture and Botany Pots. For technical projects, the pack includes automation and machinery from Mekanism, Create, Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing and Thermal Expansion, alongside storage systems such as Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage and Simple Storage Network. Magic-focused options include Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, Botania and ProjectE, while farming and food mods such as Pam’s HarvestCraft 2 and Aquaculture 2 offer other activities. The pack also adds unusual ways to travel and have fun together, including tamable reindeer and rideable polar bears and unicorns from Better Animals Plus and Fantasy Mounts.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 21 May 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 191 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 189 of its 190 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (21 May 2021) in the 110 mods we checked.
9 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
80 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
