A vanilla-style adventure with new places to explore and helpful additions.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 279 graded mods, 232 are graded A or B, 46 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 18 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Modified MC is a vanilla-plus modpack that adds exploration, building, automation, and multiplayer-focused features while aiming to retain a familiar Minecraft feel. Its world generation includes more than 100 biomes across the Overworld, Nether, and End, with expanded Nether and End dimensions, the Aether and Deeper Dark dimensions, new dungeons, and pillager structures to raid. New mobs, ores, blocks, and tools add things to discover and use, while backpacks, toolbelts, and larger Iron Chests provide storage options. The Create mod contributes building and decorative blocks as well as tools for aesthetic automation. Lootr gives players separate loot in chests, so one player's dungeon or tower visit does not leave its containers empty for others. Server-oriented features include FTB Chunks for maps and claims, teams and ranks, quests intended to guide mod progression, and backups; the source notes that quests are not yet included in the pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 5 May 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 25 Apr 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 279 of its 281 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 272 of its 275 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 222 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
53 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
