A quest-led pack mixing magic, technology, and world exploration.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 278 graded mods, 211 are graded A or B, 61 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 11 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Plastek 2 is a tech-and-magic progression modpack built around exploration, adventuring, survival, and a quest-guided journey through five ages. Its roughly 2,900 quests include main progression, side quests, and collectibles, with some mods and features unlocking as you advance while storage remains available from the start. Each age has a progression goal and lasting-use items, and quest lines introduce ways to automate important resources, while modified recipes encourage players to use the pack’s different mods. Reaching the End requires journeys through the Bumblezone, Blue Skies, the Nether, the Aether, Alfheim, and Dimensional Dungeons. Expect a demanding early survival game, revamped combat with new animations, dodge rolls, and attack combos, plus per-player difficulty that scales with age. Resource gathering can draw on Productive Bees, Resource Chickens, Mystical Agriculture, and Hostile Neural Networks, while Infernal Mobs adds valuable loot to fights against Elite, Ultra, and Infernal enemies. Seasonal growing makes most crops and trees dependent on the right season, with greenhouses offering a way to keep them growing; players can also trade Plastim scrap, made from ocean-found bags and bottles, with the Market People. Exploration brings structures, dragons to fight and raise, and collectible gear and decorations found in chests, including items from Artifacts, Relics, Nameless Trinkets, Iron’s Spells n Spellbooks, statues, and plushies. Later adventures include a more powerful Ender Dragon and Draconic Evolution gear that lets players progress beyond it to the Chaos Dragon. The pack also uses the DIET mod for food-based buffs, with negative effects if fruit, grain, protein, or vegetable intake falls below the stated threshold.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 24 Nov 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 25 Aug 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 275 of its 280 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 275 of its 280 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 233 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
47 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
