A technology modpack for everyone.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 42 graded mods, 34 are graded A or B, 5 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 22 months ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
HiveCraft Tech is a lightweight, server-friendly technology modpack designed for multiplayer, with a curated selection intended to avoid redundant mods. Its technology content includes Create and Create Crafts & Additions, Mekanism and Mekanism Generators, Immersive Engineering, and RFTools tools for utility and storage. The pack also adds crafting and customization through Tinkers Construct, alongside exploration and adventure content from The Twilight Forest and Treasure2. Other additions include Farmer’s Delight, Supplementaries, MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod, Sophisticated Backpacks, Additional Guns, and MrCrayfish’s Gun Mod. JEI and in-game manuals help players learn recipes and systems without requiring programming skills, while a small selection of magic-themed mods offers some variety beyond technology.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 21 Dec 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 9 Nov 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 42 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 40 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 33 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
7 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
