Dreamcraft is a large adventure-focused modpack that combines exploration, technology, magic, building, and quest-oriented play in an expanded Minecraft world. Terralith reshapes Overworld generation with new biomes, while the pack also adds dimensions including the Twilight Forest, the Bumblezone, Blue Skies, and the Everdawn and Everbight dimensions. Exploration brings new dungeons and structures through mods such as When Dungeons Arise, Dungeon Crawl, Repurposed Structures, and Additional Structures, with artifacts and gadgets to find in places such as dungeons, buried treasure, and End cities. New creatures, mobs, and bosses add encounters beyond vanilla, with examples including Alex’s Mobs, Naturalist, Friends&Foes, and L_Ender’s Cataclysm. Technology options include automation and machinery from Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Immersive Engineering, Integrated Dynamics, and Compact Machines. Magic and resource progression are represented by Ars Nouveau, ProjectE, and Mystical Agriculture, while Upgraded Netherite adds new Netherite gear. For base-building, the pack includes Macaw’s construction and decoration mods, MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod, Building Gadgets, and Construction Wand, alongside utility features such as Waystones and Xaero’s maps. It also includes built-in voice chat, shaders that can be disabled, and performance-focused mods, and supports playing with friends on a hosted server.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 11 Sep 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 27 Aug 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 214 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 214 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 14 of the 172 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
42 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
