About
Of Scales and Claws is a fantasy-focused modpack built around exploration and combat, with magic as another way to shape your playstyle. You can summon deities through Occultism, fight as a spellcasting Battle Mage with Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, build custom spells with Ars Nouveau, or take a brute-force approach with Simply Swords. The world brings dangerous opponents including dragons, evil Illagers, deep-sea monsters, Acrolytes, and undead, while expanded caves, lava rivers, and an explorable underworld add places to venture into. Dragon attacks can threaten settlements: dragons may devastate villages with both fire and physical attacks. To reduce the need for extensive mining, geodes provide a quick way to establish ore supplies, including diamonds. Distant Horizons and Complementary shaders are included for enhanced views, but both visual features are disabled by default.
