Calamycraft is a Terraria- and Calamity-inspired Minecraft modpack built around Terramity, with a long combat- and exploration-focused progression that replaces vanilla’s short progression with a sequence of story milestones. Its story quests guide players through boss fights in a set order across chapters, while more than 100 additional quests cover completion, hunting, and guidance objectives. The pack features roughly 32 bosses, including 11 optional encounters, drawn from mods such as Cataclysm, Bosses of Mass Destruction, Mowzie’s Mobs, Aquamirae, and Born in Chaos. Boss victories provide rewards such as guns, spells, legendary souls, and boss loot bags, while new items and custom recipes supply materials for crafting and progression. Its gear selection spans weapons, armor, magic, and curios, with examples including Celestisynth, Simply Swords, Ars Nouveau, Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, and Artifacts. Boss health and damage, along with access to many weapons and armor sets, are tuned around progression so that encounters remain challenging and gear is earned through boss materials. Exploration is expanded with world-generation content such as Alex’s Caves, Yung’s structures, Mystic’s Biomes, and The Outer End.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 29 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 17 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
13 mods send something about you
We read the code of 366 of its 372 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 27 of the 313 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
59 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
