A challenging adventure pack with quests, bosses, magic, and technology.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 258 graded mods, 99 are graded A or B, 44 C and 115 D to F. Its last update came out 6.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
MC Eternal Hardcore is a hybrid adventure, magic, and technology modpack built around a long, challenging survival playthrough, with more than 750 quests and challenges to guide exploration and progression. Hardcore play adds new quests, dungeons, and bosses, intelligent enemy AI, difficulty scaling, and raids that players must survive and prepare for; the mode also supports multiplayer. Exploration is central to finding resources: the pack makes strip mining less effective and encourages venturing into large, dangerous caves, dungeons, and other worlds such as the Twilight Forest, the Betweenlands, the Erebus, and the Midnight. Its combat and creature encounters range from dragons in Ice and Fire and hostile invasions to Mowzie’s Mobs, primitive creatures, vampires, and rats that can fire cheese from cannons. Alongside survival and combat, the pack offers extensive crafting and automation through mods such as Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, BuildCraft, and Advanced Rocketry, as well as magic systems including Botania, Thaumcraft, Astral Sorcery, and Electroblob’s Wizardry.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 31 Aug 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 31 Aug 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 268 of its 270 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 267 of its 270 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 135 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
135 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
