Versatile is a broad exploration and RPG-focused modpack that brings together content from Luna Pixel Studios’ packs alongside additional mods. It expands the world with Oh The Biomes You’ll Go, nine new dimensions, and BetterEnd, BetterNether, and BetterX, alongside new dungeons and structures. Create and Ad Astra add engineering and space-themed content, while Origins, RPG Difficulty, PlayerEX stats, and professions support character builds and role-focused play. Combat and magic additions include Wizards, BetterCombat, Spirit, Mythical Gear, Paladins and Priests, plus bosses from Bosses of Mass Destruction and Marium’s Soulslike Weaponry. Waystones, End Remastered, JourneyMap and Xaero’s map integration, built-in shaders, and other quality-of-life additions round out the pack’s exploration features. The pack contains more than 330 mods and supports VR as well as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 21 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 1 Sep 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 337 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 330 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 31 of the 330 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
