A modpack for exploring new lands and building automated machines.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 390 graded mods, 248 are graded A or B, 67 C and 75 D to F. Its last update came out 4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Odyssey 2 is a large kitchen-sink modpack built around rewarding exploration and extensive automation, with nearly 1,200 quests guiding players through its broad mix of content. Exploration ranges across dangerous creatures and structures from mods such as Ice and Fire, Greek Fantasy, and Dungeons Enhanced, as well as destinations including Atum, Blue Skies, and the Twilight Forest, alongside expanded Nether and End adventures. Its technology systems include Refined Storage, Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Thermal, Industrial Foregoing, and Create, supporting automated crafting and resource gathering. Early-game resources can also come from custom sluices, jars, and drippers, while custom multiblocks provide materials such as Draconium, Gaia Ingots, Rock Crystals, and Flux. The pack adds a progression goal of crafting Ancient Ingots, which unlock custom creative items through systems including Extended Crafting and Create. Magic offers another route to explore through Ars Nouveau, Eidolon, Forbidden and Arcanus, Mahou Tsukai, and other magic mods. For building and a less combat-focused playstyle, decoration options include Macaw’s furniture, bridges, doors, roofs, and windows, MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod, and Chisel & Bits; BYG, Small Ships, and Simple Planes add further ways to shape and travel through the world.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 17 Oct 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 12 Oct 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 396 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 396 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 24 of the 293 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
103 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
