Catch Pokémon, build automated factories, or settle into a peaceful homestead.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 122 graded mods, 83 are graded A or B, 18 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out 3.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Cobblemon PokeFactory is a modpack built around combining Pokémon gameplay with technical automation, building, and peaceful homestead play. Cobblemon and Create are its core: use Create to build automated Poké Ball factories, farms, windmills, and other contraptions, with add-ons expanding the automation and building options. Applied Energistics 2 and Extended Drawers provide large-scale item storage, while Farmer’s Delight adds crops, food recipes, and a farming-focused way to live alongside Pokémon. For players who prefer a different aesthetic to Create’s machinery, Botania offers another route to power, and Cosmetic Armour lets groups coordinate their outfits. Exploration and construction are supported by Biomes You’ll Go’s custom biomes, world generation, and building blocks, alongside Cobblemon-focused datapacks that connect the pack’s mods more closely. The pack includes more than 90 selected mods and can be played solo or on its player-based, barter-economy server.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 15 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Aug 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 131 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 126 of its 127 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 127 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
